The key
aspects of the research activities conducted in the CSM Group are the
following:
- Simulations of multi-scale and multi-physics problems
- Development and implementation of novel numerical methods
- Code optimization for massively parallel computing platforms
- Close collaboration with experimental research groups
- To gain the physical insight needed to develop the numerical schemes
- To have access to the experimental date necessary to calibrate and validate the simulation results
- Collaboration with computer scientists to further
develop and optimize the codes developed in the group
