Q: Can the wing sweep be changed for the different missions?

A: Yes, as long as all elements of the sweep change mechanism remain with the aircraft for all missions.  For example, you can not use a "plug-in" block that changes the wing sweep since the block would be present for one mission/sweep, but not for another.

Q: The contest rules state that the payload is to be PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride). Is the term PVC meant to be a generic term for plastic piping or does the payload strictly have to be made from PVC?

A: Yes, the rules require PVC pipe, not any generic plastic.  There are suitable sizes of PVC pipe readily available in almost any plumbing department.
