DBF Q&A #11
Q: Can we bring/use tools during the timed dis-assembly step?
A: Yes, you may use what ever tools are required to dis-assemble and store the aircraft. You may make custom tools if desired/required to assist in the process. You may not use a work bench/cradle unless it is part of the container and is stored in it as part of the disassembly.
Q: Can students that weren't on the original team list still attend the competition?
A: Yes. I will accept ONE update to the student list per team to update the web. I must receive them by 15 Feb.
We will be sending the request for fly-off access security information shortly (as soon as I complete discussions with the Webster security people). There will be NO people who are not on the security submission granted access to the field for the contest. We will accept ONE security information file per university (combined if there are multiple teams) as there are far too many students to have to search for duplicates/updates.
