AE Teams Sweep Space Design Competition

Aerospace Engineering teams from the University of Illinois swept all awards in the recent 2007-2008 Undergraduate Team Space Design Competition, sponsored by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Foundation.

How Do I Connect a Windows XP Computer to the Printers?

  1. Make sure WINS servers are entered. If you have not registered your computer with Aerospace, please visit - IP address form. Wireless will work without registering your computer with Aerospace
  2. Browse to \\ae-orville
  3. Enter Active Directory Username and Password
  4. Double Click Printer
  5. Accept Server-Side Drivers
  6. Print

  7. Note: Use Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer when browsing to \\ae-orville

How Do I Connect a Mac OSX Computer to the Printers?

  1. Print a Document
  2. Select a shared printer from printer selection.
  3. Print

How Do I Check My Printer Quota?

  1. Goto https://my.ae.uiuc.edu/quotas/ and Enter Username and Password.
  2. Click on Quotas.
  3. A Printing Report on Printer History and Current Quota Will Appear.

How many pages can I print?

  • Fall Semester - 500 pages
  • Spring Semester - 500 pages
  • Summer Semester - 300 pages

Does my printing quota carry over to the next semester?

No. At beginning of each semester the printer quota is reset to the respective pages.


Can I combine my EWS printer quota with my Aerospace printer quota?

No. The Aerospace Computer Lab is not an EWS lab. The Aerospace Department continues to maitain it's own lab so that it is exclusive to Aerospace Students. The printing systems are seperate. Please visit EWS to review their printing policies.
