About Illinois Space Day
Illinois Space Day is designed to get kids in the local community excited about space exploration and the aerospace industry. The day is filled with space activities, demonstrations, and guest speakers.

9:15AM - Opening Ceremony
9:30AM - Mars Rovers and the Egg Drop
10:30AM - Astronomy Speaker
11:30AM - Lunch
12:15PM - NASA Spinoff Game
12:30PM - Shuttle Tile Demo
12:45PM - Fun with Liquid Nitrogen
1:15PM - Rockets!
3:15PM - Closing Ceremony

Spaceship Design Competition
Rules: You can use whatever material you would like to make some model of a spaceship that you beleive will one day carry people to and/or through space. There is no size restriction and there will be PRIZES, so let your imagination run wild.
Please bring your pieces to the registration booth on April 25th to be judged.
