Description of Research:

Directed by Professor M. S. Selig. This laboratory features a Frasca International reconfigurable aircraft flight simulator. This simulator provides a six-degree-of-freedom, fixed-base aircraft simulation. The aircraft being simulated can be varied by loading in the appropriate geometrical, mass, aerodynamic, and propulsion data. The laboratory is used in the undergraduate curriculum to study aircraft flight mechanics and control systems.
