Voulgaris Awarded NCSA Fellowship

Aerospace Engineering Professor Petros Voulgaris has been awarded a National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) Fellowship for his project, "Simulation-Based Performance and Robustness Analysis of Large Distributed Control Applications."

Description of Research:

Directed by Professor S. R. White. The CMLs house state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment for polymer matrix composites. Filament winding, autoclaving, and hot pressing capabilities exist within the laboratories. Research in the labs is focused on the improvement of existing processing techniques and the development of new methods for manufacturing of polymer composites and smart materials.
