Description of Research:

Directed by Professor P. H. Geubelle. In this lab, computational tools are developed for various issues associated with fracture mechanics, composite manufacturing, fluid/structure interaction, and other research topics in solid mechanics and aeroelasticity. The lab consists of a series of Linux workstations used for code development, for pre-processing, and for the post-processing of results of simulations performed on the CSE and NCSA supercomputers.
